Dr. Ciarlone compliments our Practice with his interest in Sports Medicine and disorders of the Hip, Knee and Shoulder. He has extensive experience in the arthroscopic treatment of knee and shoulder injuries, as well as minimally invasive hip, knee and shoulder replacement. He also specializes in the Direct Anterior Approach – Hip Replacement. This approach involves a smaller incision, no detaching of muscles or tendons, improved component positioning, equal leg lengths, decreased dislocation rates and decreased hospital stays. As an experienced Orthopaedic Trauma Surgeon, Dr. Ciarlone also brings his vast experience in the treatment of fractures and trauma. Dr. Ciarlone graduated from Oakland University, Michigan State College of Osteopathic Medicine and did his Orthopaedic Residency at Pontiac Osteopathic Hospital.
