Product Details Moon Cushions perform the same function as a zafu or meditation stool but are well-suited to those who prefer an added degree of comfort and support. We have developed the Moon Cushion especially for beginners or practitioners who either find it difficult to achieve the right pelvic alignment (slightly tilted forward) or require support under the upper thighs in order to alleviate pressure or pain on the upper thighs during long running meditation sessions. The Moon Cushion achieves the first objective through it’s shape (high at the back lower at the front) and the second through the support offered to the upper thighs by the Moon sickle shaped design. Our Moon Cushions are made by us to our design from strong 100% cotton drill with an integral cotton webbing carry-handle. The filling is organic buckwheat hulls and the cushion casing has a discreet zip closure allowing the user to make adjustments to the firmness of the cushion by removing or adding some of the filling. The Moon Cushion can be easily cleaned and maintained in its pristine condition by occasionally brushing it down using a stiff brush dipped in lukewarm water The Moon Cushion weighs approximately 3.5kg.
