Yoga for Back Pain - 20 Min Yoga for Lower Back Pain - Back Pain Relief - At Home Yoga Hi! I'm Christina, and welcome to my yoga YouTube channel, ChriskaYoga! This is a 20 Minute Yoga Class for Back Pain. This is meant for back pain relief, and it will stretch your back relieving pain in the lower back. This yoga routine will provide you with some low back stretches, as well as hip stretches and hamstring stretches, which will help to relieve back pain as well. You will need a yoga blanket for this class (sub w/ a thick towel). We will begin the class laying down and hugging the knees into the chest (apanasana) before we take a one legged supine twist on both sides. We will then come into a child's pose to lengthen and stretch the whole back (balasana) and then we'll come into a puppy stretch. Next we'll warm up the back muscles with a few cat and cow poses before taking a wide legged downward facing dog pose (adho mukha svanasana). Following this, we will take a standing forward fold (uttanasana) to further release the spine and a wide legged forward fold with some light movement (prasarita padottonasana) before sitting down on the ground. Once seated, we'll take a one legged forward fold (janu sirsasana) into a seated twist in half lord of the fishes pose (ardha matsyandrasana) on both sides.
